由信息工程学院、体育学院、法学院和马克思主义学院学生会学习部联合举办的迎新英语演讲比赛终于落幕了。这次大型活动的举办，对学习部来说，无疑是具有着重大意义的。在活动举办的整个过程中，我们一直坚持“增进友谊、服务同学”理念，认真做着每一件事情，尽可能地注意到每一个细节，力求将这次活动办得让老师们满意、让同学们满意、让自己放心。经过此次活动，我们从中获益匪浅，当然，其中出现的很多不足之处，也值得我们去认真思考。
成绩：
首先，对此次活动，我们四个院学习部之间进行了深入的沟通与交流，在物资设备申请、教室借用、评委礼物、PPT制作等方面，我们分工具体、明确，四个院之间坚持互帮互助、通力合作，为此次活动的顺利进行奠定了良好的基础；
其次，在人员安排方面，我们四个院的准备较为充分，包括主持人、礼仪小姐、记分员、茶水员、音响调试员、多媒体设备控制员等方面都做了周密、详尽的安排，保证了活动完整、有序地开展；
最后，在活动环节中，我们添加了爵士舞表演和十佳歌手演唱环节，十分有效地活跃了现场了气氛，也调动了观众参与活动的积极性； 不足：
虽然取得了一定的成绩，但我们更多的，是要关注在活动中所出现的不足之处，以便于吸取教训，为以后活动的更好开展奠定基础。
第一、活动前期的准备工作略显仓促，赛前的赛制商量不明确，直至比赛开始之前的前几小时才通知到选手以相关的赛制改变事宜。部分选手上台之后因紧张而说不出话的原因与此有一定的联系；
第二、活动形式上还需进一步创新。此次的比赛我们仍采用了以往的普通赛制，部分观众因对演讲比赛的环节失去了兴趣，中场离开，导致了现场其他观众的躁动和离场，影响了整个活动的质量；
第三、活动现场的秩序较为混乱。现场的少部分观众未能很好地控制自己的情绪和行为，在比赛现场大声喧闹，不仅影响了选手的发挥，也影响了主持人的发挥，造成了现场的很多尴尬局面。在以后的活动中，一定要记得安排好秩序维护员是一项很重要的工作。
此次演讲赛给予了我们很深的感受，在以后的工作中，我们一定会吸取经验，认真组织，争取把每一次活动办到更好。
